Age limit: 27 years as on 01.01.2010. Age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited has come into effect from 01.04.2007 after restructuring of erstwhile West Bengal State Electricity Board in compliance of Electricity Act 2003. WBSETC Ltd. is responsible for transmitting Power at 400KV, 220KV, 132KV & 66KV throughout the state of West Bengal. WBSETC Ltd. Has 10960.119 CKM EHV lines having different voltage grades starting from 400KV to 66KV. This company has total installed transformation capacity of 14828.3 MVA with 93 (Ninety three) nos. of EHV Sub-Stations (400KV to 66KV) and handling more than 20,000 MU of power per year in its transmission network.
