We are looking for people with strong process orientation and design and development skills on Java, J2EE, Spring, IBatis, Web Services, WebSphere and Sybase/Oracle. It would be good to have exposure to dotnet, c# and WSE (web services enhancement). Java, J2EE and WebSphere certified candidates will be preferred. Selected candidates are expected to quickly understand SOA concepts and contribute to delivery of new/current projects. They are also expected to upgrade the services seamlessly integrate with applications while underlying database is moved from Sybase to Oracle. Candidates are expected to demonstrate high levels of motivation, adaptability and leadership to achieve goals. Application Services – Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer Experience • 4.5 to 6 years in good organization. Java / J2EE • Strong analytical and programming skills • Good knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, Spring , IBatis, log4j, ant, Junit • Sound knowledge of SOA, Web services, SOAP, Websphere • Exposure to dotnet , c-sharp, Web services enhancements, Nunit • Exposure to IDE eclipse or RAD and version control clearcase • Hands-on at least one RDBMS (preferably Oracle), should be able to write queries consisting joins, unions and development of stored procedure, packages and functions.
