We have opening with Farnell Electronics India Pvt Ltd for Fields Sales Engineer Position.

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Delhi
Salary: 4 â€" 6 L PA

Job Purpose: Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth in assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s product and/pr related services Manage and develop a portfolio of key prospects accounts approximately xxx accounts within the region.

Principal Accountabilities
• Establish, maintain and develop business, social and civic relationships with customers and potential customers in the assigned territory to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and services.
• Deliver sales to meet forecast.
• Plan and organise a sales strategy plan for each account.
• Analyse the customer needs and interests and develop channel proposition in line with customer preference.
• Develop, plan and deliver bespoke propositions to new prospects.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
• Ensure strong, effective market share of the products and services by providing direction and information on the products and application and related services.
• Make supportive sales calls and presentations.
• Evaluate performance results.
• Participate in trade shoes, conventions, sales meetings or other special events.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned

Key Challenges
• Good knowledge of Premier Farnell business.
• Working across businesses and departments to co-ordinate services and sales efforts into customer.
• Understand the core competencies and broad product range.
• Good knowledge of channels to market.
• Good commercial acumen.

Skills, Know How and experience
• 2 years’ experience in a sales experience of related industry.
• Translates business plan to project plan and tasks and ability to deliver targets.
• Ability to seek out challenges, drive through difficult issues and overcome obstacles to consistently achieve objectives.
• Ability to convince others and create ‘win win’ situations.
• Tenacity, durability and results orientated.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Local language fluency and English.
• PC based IT skills.
• Team Player.
