For a new career: Need Network Engineer

VERY URGENT, IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW

Title: Network Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6months

Must-haves
- CCNP or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of networking experience
- Firewall experience (Checkpoint and/or Juniper)
- Routing protocols- BGP experience
- WAN experience
- Troubleshooting, configuring and installing networks

Day-to-Day
This person will be responsible for working with the Networking team to ensure the quality of the company's WAN transition. They will be supporting the network in addition to troubleshooting, configuring and installing routers and switches. The environment also has Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls and this person must be able to configure those as well. This organization is currently switching WAN providers and this is the reason for the open position. Ideally, this person will have their CCNP, be proficient with protocols such as BGP and MPLS and have a strong understanding of networks.

This network is a medium sized network, it's about 800 nodes. So experience supporting that size is a must as well. In addition, this person will participate on an on call rotation every 8 weeks and there might be the possibility to travel to remote sites in the bay area.
