1. Department Description The department in charge of End to End 2D/3D graphics performance and capabilities on embedded devices
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations - Development of components in the 2D/3D graphics stack
- Performance improvement using hardware accelerators
- Enhancing the graphical capabilities of embedded linux devices
Specific Knowledge/Skills - Understanding of Linux based graphics subsystems
- Opengl, opengles programming
- Experience with embedded devices based on ARM
- Understanding of Xserver, Window manager, Cairo, GTK, Webkit

Department in charge of Systems and Device Integration of the mobile software stack.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
- Platform bring-up on mobile devices
- Linux Device driver development/debuggin/porting
- Bootloader, kernel and low level device software development
- Userspace/Middleware development for vertical deliveries for power managment, connectivity, 2D/3D graphics
Specific Knowledge/Skills
o ARM, Xscale, OMAP, developing Board Support Packages, Porting, communications protocols (inc wireless â€" Bluetooth, Wi-FI , USB, RS232, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, HDLC, SDIO)
o Linux Driver development experience (things that would get our interest would be Telephony , networking, video, audio, unusual buses)
o Good C Programmer.
o Thorough understanding of Linux OS.
